The list of the top 100 industrial counties in China in 2022 is released, and Zhijiang makes the cut

On November 25th, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology released the "Report on the Development of County - level Industrial Economy in China (2022)" at the China County - level Industrial Economic Development Forum, unveiling the top 100 industrial counties (cities) in China in 2022.Zhijiang City made it onto the list, ranking 78th!

       The list of the top 100 industrial counties (cities) is calculated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology based on the industrial competitiveness evaluation system of counties (cities) using the analytic hierarchy process. The evaluation system mainly includes six major dimensional indicators: comprehensive quality and efficiency, innovation, coordination, green development, opening - up, and sharing. The evaluation results reflect the comprehensive strength of the industrial economy of counties (cities) in aspects such as foundation consolidation, quality and efficiency improvement, new kinetic energy cultivation, innovation - driven development, and green and low - carbon development.

       According to the report, the top 100 industrial counties (cities) in China cover 75 county - level cities, 22 counties, and 3 banners across the country. Their total GDP reaches 9.9 trillion yuan, the general public budget revenue is 723.7 billion yuan, and the industrial added value amounts to 4.5 trillion yuan. Overall, with 3.5% of the county - level administrative divisions, 6.6% of the population, and over 14% of the employees in enterprises above the designated size in the country, the top 100 industrial counties (cities) contribute nearly 10% of the national GDP, over 14% of the industrial added value, and nearly 16% of the total profits of industrial enterprises above the designated size, making significant economic and social contributions.
